DSYSA Soccer : - Registration - REC Welcome to the Dripping Springs Youth Soccer
Recreational League Registration page!
Fall 2010 Rec registration is now open. We're using a new system from SportsPilot for registration. This system will be in use across all DSYSA sports going forward. The family accounts you create registering for soccer will be used again for football, lacrosse, basketball, baseball, softball, cheer, and so on. Note there are several important instructions and information at the top of the pages in the registration system. Please give them a read. Please contact Buddy Yount (dsysa.soccer.treas@gmail.com) or Vicky Metzger (dsysareg@gmail.com) if you have any difficulties with the system. We're still working to make sure it works as smoothly as possible! Uniforms: The 2010-2011 uniforms are the same as the 2009-2010 uniforms. If you have last year's uniform and it still fits, you do not need to purchase a new uniform kit! These are the jerseys with blue and white vertical panels.
* U4 Soccer will be offered again in the Spring Visit our Recreational League Soccer webpage for program information, a CALENDAR, FAQs, and much more! Where does all the money go? All but about $20 of the fees go to pay direct per-registration costs such as maintenance of the fields (mowing, water, etc), registration of the player with CAYSA and USYSA, Referees for those ages that have ref's, and so on. The remainder of your registration fees are used to cover other expenses not directly tied to a registration such as jerseys for the coaches, banking and admin costs (web, registration system), and of course credit card costs at roughly 5% of every transaction. That which is still left over is used to fund the actual costs for players that couldn't otherwise afford to play. The increasing prices with age are driven directly by increasing CAYSA fees and referee fees for those ages. Refund Policy Requests for refunds must be made in writing to the DSYSA Soccer Treasurer. The letter or e-mail must include the player's name, gender, age group, and team, as well as the parent's name and mailing address. The amount to be refunded will be determined as follows: 1. Requests received before the close of registration will receive a partial refund equaling the registration fee paid less $25.00 processing fee. 2. Requests received after the close of registration but before Friday before the first scheduled game (i.e. by Thursday midnight) will receive a 50% refund. 3. Requests received on or after Friday before the first scheduled game (i.e. after Thursday midnight) will not receive any refund (including for cases of illness, injury, moving, etc.).
